Salt and Light
The God of Abraham continues to be active in the present day.
Greetings
God, thank you for the day. I come to you with thanksgiving and praise, I live to worship you. I leave to honour you and to lift your name up high. God, I pray that you direct us where you want us to do. I pray for obedience and submission to Holy Spirit. I pray that this message finds exactly who it is for, and they get encouraged to keep on following your name. I pray for the readers and the families they represent, that they may see your face and know that You are God. In the mighty name of my Lord and Saviour, I pray. Amen.
I believe that knowledge and science may have led us to overlook the true source of all things.
Even though we can visit doctors and receive medication, we often don't begin by seeking divine healing.
Even though fertility treatments are available, we overlook the biblical accounts of Sarah, Hannah, Elizabeth, and others who were blessed with children in their later years.
Even though we can access information on the internet, we forget that the divine is the author of all wisdom, possessing knowledge about everything. When studying our scriptures, we tend to rely on the internet rather than seeking the Holy Spirit's guidance for interpretation.
I believe God is stirred in my heart to tell you that, He still the same God and He will forever remain unchanged. And He inspired me tell you that, you are the salt and light of the Earth, who will remind people that He still very much in control.
The bible says, “Everything will pass away, but His word will always remain.”
God has not retired from watching over us, performing miracles, healing the sick, judging the wicked, or speaking to us. It is we who have retired from solely depending on Him. I often wonder why it was easier for John to submit to God, or for Paul or Abraham. It's because they knew that the only answers would come from God, therefore only depended on him.
Today, consider relying solely on God, setting aside all other dependencies. Seek guidance from Him first, rather than turning to the internet, your parents, or your pastor. Jesus left upon us the Holy Spirit to serve as our helper and advocate, to direct our paths, and to help us recall all that Jesus has taught us.
But if the salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet (Matthew 5:13).
I believe at this moment, God is questioning, "How can you call me a miracle worker when you have not experienced me as such?" and "How can you say I heal when you rush to doctors instead of seeking my healing first? You have lost your reliance on me and placed it upon the things I have created."
I am not saying do not go to the doctors, all I am asking for you to understand is that he can still very much heal.
I am currently very inspired by Apostle Paul and his unwavering dedication to the Lord. His transformation upon salvation, his willingness to allow, obey, and submit to the Holy Spirit, deeply moves me. He embraced his identity as a child of God, responding with obedience to his heavenly Father's call. He was never ashamed of the Gospel and his role at being the salt and light of the earth is truly admirable. I my head i felt as though that kind of will-power is not attainable. I can never write more than 20 books, I can never preach the Gospel to over 30 countries, it is not possible for me. But I have forgotten who the source of everything truly is.
I know that this verse has been interpreted in many different ways, but this is what God is saying to me at this moment in time. and I hope it finds the person who it is really directed for.
remember to message me if you want to join the morning prayer, we are currently on day 5 out of 30 days so you still have time.
Closing
God, I pray that we remember you in everything we do. God, thank you for reminding us that You were, you are, and You will forever be. I pray that whoever is praying for a miracle they remember that you turned water into wine, whoever is praying for healing must remember that you raised Lazarus from the dead and whoever is praying for providence must remember that You fed thousands which just two fishes and five loaves of bread. Thank you, father, thank you Yahweh, thank you Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Nissi. Amen.
